The Health Center would like to offer two “gifts” for our faculty and staff.
Gift 1 – Healthsource is coming to Meredith to provide free 10 minute chair massages in the Cate Center lobby on:
Monday, December 10 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and
Thursday, December 13, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Gift 2 - A new Capital Area Greenway (CAG) map.
The Health Center has several CAG maps to guide you on a walk, hike or bike on the greenway over break. I hope you have time to enjoy being outside in the wonderful winter weather we usually experience in Raleigh. Please stop by the Health Center and pick up a CAG map from your friends at the Health Center! Maps are at the front desk of the Health Center in Carroll Hall, first floor.
CAG is a network of trails and parks throughout the Raleigh area that you can walk, hike, or ride bikes on. As most of you know the CAG runs through Meredith’s campus!
One way to enjoy the Greenway is by cycling it. Students, faculty and staff members can borrow-a-bike for free from the Fitness Center on weekdays and the Gatehouse on weekends. Please visit the Meredith College Borrow-a-Bike program’s website at the address below for more information. Please check the website for holiday hours. BONUS: Campus Police has agreed to check out bikes at the gatehouse over the holiday break on weekdays and weekends!
