A Little Night Music by Hugh Wheeler, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim

Full of quick wit and evoking the harmonious rhythm of waltz time, Tony Award-winner Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music is the must-see musical of the season. Set in turn of the century Sweden, A Little Night Music is a sumptuous musical celebration of love.

Desirée Armfeldt has always captured the hearts of men.  When both of her lovers—and their wives—show up for a weekend in the country, the boundless possibilities of an old romance and newly awakened passions bring endless surprises.

A Little Night Music runs February 12 - 17 at 8 pm in Jones Auditorium, with a 3 pm matinee on Saturday, February 16.

Tickets $10 general; $5 students/seniors

Coming in April

You think a lot of yourself.  You think.  You think of that skewed vision of your childhood, back when you were who you were.  You think of who you are now, of who you could be, of what you want out of life, and what you think you think you’ll do to get it.  Don’t you?  Written and directed by Chip Rodgers, with an original score by Gavin Price, Elektra vaguely remembers and refracts the original texts by Sophocles, Euripides, Homer, O’Neill, and Sartre to examine the tragedy of what it means to grow up inside your own head, justifying every decision with millions of stupid, mundane, and self-destructive reasons for things that don’t matter.
