Meet the MAP Staff
Kathryn M. Dove has undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in clinical psychology. She completed a nine-month internship at the Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention (LIFE) as a requirement to overseeing the MAP's research replication status. She has worked full-time for the Meredith Autism Program since the spring of 1998. In 2004, she was made program director of the MAP. In addition to directing the program, she is the instructor for the Autism Practicum course and has periodically served as adjunct faculty for the Meredith College Department of Psychology.
Asumi Sakae Douglass has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Masters degree in teaching with a concentration in special education. She has worked for the Meredith Autism Program since the summer of 2000. She has served as a one-on-one trainer, preschool shadow, team leader, team supervisor, and workshop consultant before being promoted to her current position as behavioral consultant. Asumi is fluent in both English and Japanese.
Crystal Whitley Lester has an undergraduate degree in psychology. She has worked for the Meredith Autism Program since the summer of 2003. She has served as a one-on-one trainer, preschool shadow, team leader, team supervisor, and workshop consultant in the past. After a few years hiatus from working with MAP, Crystal is back as a full time behavioral consultant.
Hilary L. Wilkinson has an undergraduate degree in psychology and speech communications and a graduate degree in counseling psychology. She is also a licensed professional counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has worked for the Meredith College Autism Program since the summer of 2003. She has served as a one-on-one trainer, preschool shadow, team leader and team supervisor before being promoted to her current position as behavioral consultant and assistant director of the MAP. In addition to her duties with the MAP, she has periodically served as adjunct faculty for the Meredith College Department of Psychology.
