Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference released their player of the week awards. Kristy Knight was named the USA South Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the third time this season. The Avenging Angels just finished the regular season in first place and start play in the USA South tournament as the number one seed hosting Ferrum on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Kristy Knight, Meredith - The Cary, North Carolina senior forward totaled four goals in a 7-1 victory over USA South rival Peace in the team's only action last week. Knight scored the Avenging Angels' first four goals of the match, the first coming just 1:38 into the contest. Her second goal was the eventual game-winner.
