Acrylic paint is my primary medium because it allows me to explore many options in a short amount of time without restricting me of the color spectrum. My use of bright colors and inspiration comes from my love of the beach. I will begin a piece with an element or symbol of the beach and give it my personal twist of colors, patterns and various designs. I have begun to study the interaction of positive psychology and visual art.

I believe that it is important in our society today to emphasize the importance of happiness. What makes me happy is the beach and I want to relay that to my viewers. I enjoy trying to recreate the world as I see it, colorful and want others to experience a piece of that world too.
