Ashley Everhart

Senior Ashley EverhartMy work is about taking ideas, concepts, or feelings and creating a solution to a problem. As a designer my goal is to problem solve by creating a visual message for an audience. The work that I create serves to meet the needs of a client. Every client comes with a new challenge and a chance for me to expand and grow as a designer. Graphic design allows me to make bold statements, a style reflected in my work. I use dynamic colors and photographic visuals that are often silhouetted with a clean and organized grid structure.

When starting a new project I always research and sketch my ideas before taking them to the computer. I research and gather information about the concept so that I can better solve the problem at hand. This helps me know what has been done before and helps me become inspired by others.Sketching is a very important part of my design process because it allows me to visually plan my approach to a design problem.

I am inspired by the world around me and through my own experiences. My objective is to always show consistency but to keep variety through the combination of photography and typography. My goal is to inform and inspire the viewer through my designs while keeping the client happy.
