Kappa Pi

A chapter of Kappa Pi, the International Art Honorary Fraternity, was established during the 2010-2011 year.  Rebecca Bailey was chapter sponsor and Kristi Fowler was installed as Founding President.  Twenty-Five students were inducted into the Theta Alpha chapter on April 14, 2011.  All graduating inductees wore purple and gold honor cords to mark their academic and artistic achievement at the May graduation ceremony.

Service Activities

Kappa Pi visited with residents at Abbotswood retirement facility on October 22nd at 3:00pm.

 

They discussed art history, its importance throughout history and the various forms and media used. Afterwards we all enjoyed painting pumpkins to celebrate the spirit of fall.
