What an exciting fall we have had here on the Meredith campus. In September, Frank Warren of PostSecret fame spoke to a sold-out audience. Just a few weeks later, we welcomed Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai—in honor of her visit, our students planted more than 350 trees in our very own “Green Belt.”
The new student apartments opened this fall, along with the new athletic field and track complex. We are excited about this growth and the positive energy both of these new projects bring to campus. Even more importantly, our students are excited! Across the ocean, our new permanent site in Sansepolcro, Italy, welcomed its first group of students.
Our campus theme this year is “Catalysts for Change.” As any alum can tell you, Meredith women are known for their unique ability to bring about positive change in their communities. This year our entire campus will explore together what it means to be a catalyst for change. You are invited to participate! Finally, I hope that you will continue to keep us updated on news in your life. We want to share in the excitement of a new job, house, marriage or baby!
