General Information

Congratulations on your decision to attend Meredith! As an adult student, you’ll find a supportive community of professional staff and faculty who are here to help you achieve your academic goals. We offer a broad range of services geared towards adult student success.

Upon admission, new adult students will receive the enrollment handbook which contains a wealth of information related to enrollment and campus resources. Of particular interest are the forms which must be submitted in a timely manner prior
to matriculation.

All current adult students over the age of 22 are automatically included in the Adult Students listserv managed by Academic & Career Planning. The listserv is used to distribute campus-related information on topics of interest to adults such as WINGS student organization meetings, scholarships, social events, study skills and career workshops, childcare, etc.

Many adults returning to school after some time feel intimidated
by the process. We’ve developed a list of College Terms - Defined that will help translate the terminology used on the campus.

Prospective adult students should consult the Frequently Asked Questions page and the Admissions website for more information.
