Meredith College alumnae have access to ACP services free, for their lifetime. These include:
Career Counseling and Career Management:

Career assessments can be a valuable part of the exploration and evaluation process. ACP offers several assessment instruments including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and Strong Interest Inventory® are available to alumnae for a fee. The Career Liftoff Interest Inventory is offered at no fee.
Considering going back to school? Explore and prepare for graduate school with ACP. Learn more about the timeline for applying for programs and the application process. Receive an individualized review of your personal statement.
CareerLink, ACP’s online job board, is accessible to Meredith graduates and is the site that employers seeking Meredith alumnae use to post their full time, part time, and internship positions. This is also the site where you can view upcoming events sponsored by ACP, employer contact information, and is the site you’ll use to participate in on campus interviews, if agreeable to the individual employer. Add CareerLink as one of the job search tools you utilize. View step-by-step instructions or the condensed Quick Guide for accessing and managing your account. If already familiar with CareerLink, you can login.
Resumes, Letters, & Professional Correspondence:
The purpose of your resume, cover letter, and professional emails is to get noticed by prospective employers and be invited to interviews. Our Resumes, Letters, & Interviews section can help you create tailored documents that showcase your background, experience, skills, and the value you will add to the organizations of prospective employers.
Have an upcoming interview? Preparation with our Resumes, Letters, & Interviews section is an important parts of the process. Practicing responses to questions, thinking about the presentation of your background and experience, and being about to communicate the value you’ll add in the prospective position and organization is key.
ACP sponsors three career fairs throughout the year. Career fairs give you the opportunity to investigate employers and talk face-to-face with representatives, an important aspect of the job search. As an alumna you’re invited to attend these fairs.
On Campus Interviews:
Many times employers that interview candidates on campus for internships and full time positions will open up their search to current alumnae and allow you to participate. To view opportunities for on campus interviewing log on to your CareerLink account and search under the Campus Recruiting tab on the main menu. Upload your current and tailored resume to your account for each position and then submit it for consideration as employer criteria allows.
Links & Handouts:
Both online and print ACP resources can be a valuable part of the career exploration and decision making process. View helpful links and handouts always located on our Stay Connected tab on the right side of the page. Print resources are located in our Resource Room within the ACP office during office hours. Specific resources are available to give you information you need to pursue a specific career, industry, or employer. In addition, online networking resources and jobs boards are accessible to alumnae as you are completing a job search.
While it can seem intimidating, networking is a valuable part of the career development and job search process. Considering networking as a conversation with the goal of getting to know others and building relationships can make this important step seem less intimidating. Networking comes in many forms and includes connecting through social media, especially LinkedIn, participating in networking events and functions, and completing informational interviews with professionals in career fields that interest you, just to name a few. Stay connected through ACP LinkedIn, Blog, CareerLink employer directories, networking and workshop events, and career fairs as ways to meet others, build relationships, and learn about opportunities.
